Produced from sangiovese grapes carefully selected at harvest. After the traditional lengthy, cool fermentation, it matures for at least 18 months in large oak barrels. Following bottling, it undergoes an additional six months’ bottle-ageing as required by regulations. It is released to domestic and international markets two years after harvest.
Colour: Very deep, intense ruby.
Bouquet: Rich, appealing, with judicious oak influence that makes it both distinctive and seductive.
Palate: Tannic and well structured, powerful, with a lingering finish.
Alcohol: 13.5%
