Vineyard & Wine-maker Notes
Coulor:Very deep, intense ruby, tending to garnet with ageing.
Bouquet:Rich, appealing, with subtle notes of oak.
Palate:Tannic and well structured, powerful, with a lingering finish. Complements:An important wine: recommended especially with red meats, game, meats cooked in sauces, and mature cheeses.

Vinification:
Skilful and selective pruning is aprerogative for achieving this product. The vines are pruned to produce less than 1 kilo per plant. Thegrapes are then carefully selected at harvest. After the traditional long fermentation at a regulated temperature, the wine matures for at least 18 months in oak barriques.

Refinement:
It undergoes an additional ten months’ bottle-ageing as required by regulations.
It is released for sale two years after harvest.
